Rotherham 10k Corporate Challenge

What it is, how it works...

How it works: a Corporate Team is any number or runners, each an individual entry, who join together as a team. In the race, the finish positions of their first four are added; the lowest total is the winning Corporate Team. You don’t have to run together, but you can if you wish.

It’s easier to give examples than explain: the team’s runners (4 or more) are:
• Employees of the same company
• Work in the same office
• Staff of the same school
• work in the NHS
• In the same GP practice or department
• work in the same hospital
• work in the same department of a hospital
• Are active volunteers for a charity or organisation
Any of those could work: at best there should be a common name, a common purpose or reason

So probably not:
•They might be members of the same football club (unless they also fit above)
• same family (ditto) …
• live on the same street address (ditto)

But definitely NOT all members of a Running or Athletics Club. Individual runners who are in a RC or AC can be part of a Corporate Team though.

Past events have included, for example, winners Root One Advertising (image above), Rother FM, and Rotherham FC.

There is a slot for declaring as a 'Corporate Team Member' on the entry form

If you are thinking of entering a corporate team, note this:
• Each runner is in the race as an individual
• If/when they have entered have they stated the name of their team?
• Though some/all might have entered already, you can add some more
• There needs to be a nominated leader, or organiser (who can be a runner)

We (the race organisers) need to get your Corporate Team NAME which can be used in the results section. So make sure you tell us about your team

You can email us if necessary using entry@rotherham10k.com but we have made a simple form which you can use to tell us, also use it to make a number of additions if you wish.

Use our Quick Contact Form

If you tell us using the form (which is not binding) we will send you a link to make entries or additional entries.

There is no fee for the team activity, runners have entered / will enter as individuals even if you make their entries.

Contact us if you have any difficulty: we can offer ways which might help you make entries
